An Adorable Ghost Halloween Bulletin Board in Krafty Brights🎃
You will love this one! Want a Halloween board that is cute, not creepy, and still matches the bright kraft-paper room you set up in August? I thought so…
That’s why I wanted to make sure you knew about my Krafty Brights Halloween Bulletin Board – a smiling ghost with a “boo” pennant, a little Frankenstein, a witch with her broom, jack-o’-lanterns and wrapped candies, all hand drawn in the same bright pastels on kraft paper as the rest of my Krafty Brights classroom decor. It’s the board in the photo: TRICK OR TREAT, THIS CLASS IS SWEET. And yes, there’s still time – print it this week and it’s up before the costumes come out!
In short: this is a Halloween bulletin board kit in the Krafty Brights theme by Learning with Kiki: hand-drawn cutouts, an accent banner, borders, text-editable student name tags and two quotes in three languages (English, Spanish and French). You get a ready-to-print PDF plus PowerPoint and Canva files with the fonts embedded. It’s sold on its own, inside my seasonal bulletin board growing bundle, and inside a Halloween classroom bundle with daily slides and a writing craft.
Is a Halloween Bulletin Board Too Much for a Calm Krafty Brights Room?
Nope – and that’s the whole point of this set. The ghosts, pumpkins and candy use the same soft orange, green, pink and purple as your alphabet line and labels, with warm kraft paper doing the calming. Look at the photo below: the alphabet posters above the board don’t change, the striped border matches, and the only thing that says “October” is the board itself. One cohesive theme, one spooky-sweet corner, zero re-doing the room. If your walls run on the Krafty Brights classroom decor bundle, this slots right in.
I haven’t even mentioned the best part… the quotes come in English, Spanish AND French. “Trick or Treat, This Class is Sweet” can be “¡Dulce o Truco! ¡Esta Clase es un Encanto!” or “Bonbons ou Sort! Cette Classe est en Or!” on your board. (If you spot a translation I should fix, tell me – I’d love to know!)
So… What’s Inside this Halloween Bulletin Board Kit?
Basically, everything on the board in the photos, ready to print, cut, and hang:
- 👻 Cutouts: A ghost holding a “boo” pennant, a ghost in a witch hat with a broom, a witch, a Frankenstein, jack-o’-lanterns in orange and purple, wrapped candies, a spider and little stars – every one of them hand drawn by me.
- 🎃 Two quotes: “Trick or Treat, This Class is Sweet” and “Our Class is Spooktacular” in English, plus the same in Spanish and in French. Print the letters as they are, or type your own line in the editable file.
- 🕸️ Accent banner: The string of little ghost pennants with spider webs and pumpkin pails you see clipped across the top of the board.
- 🧡 Borders: Halloween strips to match – the pastel stripe, “boo” ghosts on dark scallops, Frankensteins on pink scallops and witch-hat ghosts on kraft paper. Layer two for a thicker frame!
- ✏️ Student name tags: Text-editable in PowerPoint and Canva, so every little pumpkin pail can carry a name.
- 📄 Formats: A ready-to-print PDF, plus PowerPoint and Canva files with the fonts embedded for the quotes and names.
Seriously, this kit covers the whole board – characters, letters, banner and borders – in one download!

Which Halloween Quote Should I Put on the Board?
Go with “Trick or Treat, This Class is Sweet” if you want the big, giggly one – it’s the one in my photos and the letters fill the board. “Our Class is Spooktacular” is shorter and works on a door or a smaller board. The Spanish and French versions are perfect for a dual-language room, or just for a week of new words. My personal favorite is the ghost holding his little “boo” pennant right under the quote – he’s the whole mood of October.
How Do I Put This Board Up in One Afternoon?
This is my print, cut, and hang routine, and it really is one afternoon:
- Print the PDF on cardstock (the cutouts and letters) and regular paper (the borders and banner). Laminate the cutouts if you want them back next year.
- Cut around the white outlines – no fussy trimming, the chunky outline is part of the look.
- Staple the border first, clip the banner across the top with mini clothespins, center the quote, then tuck the cutouts along the bottom so they peek over the frame. Done!
Who It’s For (and Who Should Pick Something Else)
This one is for you if your room runs on Krafty Brights, if you want Halloween classroom decor that’s sweet rather than scary for the littles, or if you teach PreK to 3rd and need something that goes up fast. It’s also a lovely match for Spanish or French immersion classrooms thanks to the translated quotes.
Pick something else if your heart wants the cozy pastel notebook look – my Fall Composition Notebook classroom decor is the gentler cousin and I won’t be offended. And if you’d rather have every season’s board in one go, the Seasonal Bulletin Boards Krafty Brights bundle is a growing bundle: fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, winter, New Years, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, spring, summer and back to school. Each board is added about a month before its season, and every future board is free once you own it.
Questions Teachers Ask Me
Does it match the main Krafty Brights bundle?
Yes! Same bright pastels, same kraft paper, same hand-drawn characters. Hang it under your Krafty Brights alphabet line and the only thing that changes is the holiday.
What can I actually edit?
The text: the quotes and the student names, in PowerPoint and Canva with the fonts embedded. You can change the wording, font, size and color. The artwork, layout and colors are locked, which is what keeps everything looking cohesive and cute. (Canva skips a few PowerPoint tricks like pattern-filled text, so the two versions can look a tiny bit different.)
Is there a Halloween bundle?
There is! The Halloween Classroom Bundle pairs this board with Halloween daily slides and a writing craft, so the screen, the wall and the hallway all match. And if you already have my 3D ghost Halloween writing activity, the two look sweet side by side.
Can I use it again next year?
Yes – it’s a digital download, so you print it again every October. The license covers your own classroom, and if you laminated the cutouts, they’re ready to go.
